The birds and the bees …African style

Funny, I have never seen a bird fuck a bee. The myth about bees and honey leaves both young women and men at far bigger disadvantages that affect their spirits, conscience, confidence, ego, and compassion for entire lifetimes. In an era where adolescent pregnancies are a global problem occurring in high-, middle-, and low-income countries. It is time for African society to have a real conversation about sex to/with young people.

Around the world, adolescent pregnancies have marginalized communities, commonly increasing poverty, adding to the lack of education and reducing the opportunity for employment. In fact, it feels safe to say bees and birds have nothing to do with either sex or relationships, in African or any society. It is time to stop-Stop It!
