However, this simplistic view does not capture the nuanced political identity of the American man of African Descent. In this essay, we will explore the idea that American men of African Descent can be best described as “cranky moderates” who value individuals over party lines. These men express frustration with the state of candidates, exhibit apathy towards voting, and harbor negative sentiments towards both Republicans and Democrats.
