Chicago, IL – NewNegro Media is proud to announce the Honor Our Fathers Bid Whist
Tournament fundraiser, to be held on June 17, 2023, at Je’Nia located at 3840 W Madison, Chicago IL, from 4pm-9pm. The cost is $75 per person, and the event is open to all.
The tournament will offer 64 teams the opportunity to play in a double elimination rise and fly format. The ticket price includes entry fee, food such as Beef RIB, Chicken Wings, Beef Polish, and an open bar. There will also be a live band and DJ to entertain guests throughout the evening. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding year-round after school sports and recreation programs for boys aged 8-18.
NewNegro Media invites American Men of African Descent, married between the ages of 45-65, in the greater Chicago and Milwaukee metro areas to participate in this exciting event. Bid Whist is a popular card game that has been enjoyed by African American communities for generations, and this tournament is an opportunity to celebrate the game while also supporting a great cause.
